Hello There! My name is Destiny. I am a Mental Health Therapist- Resident in Counseling. I am passionate about the being a part of people's growth process and being a part of one’s healing journey. Managing life's challenges and transitions can be difficult and I am glad that you are here seeking help instead of struggling alone. I use evidence based practices to help you overcome a difficult life transition, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. I believe healing, self exploration, and evolving requires a commitment to becoming the best version of oneself and the rewards can last a lifetime!
Over the years, I have served the community through my diverse experience with at-risk youth in residential settings, children on the Autism spectrum, providing individual and family sessions to minority women and children. I enjoy working with individuals in crisis through emergency services and I have a special interest in trauma, anxiety, and depression.
The hardest part of getting help is taking the first step. I am excited to walk this journey with you. I implement evidenced based practices with a person centered approach.
