My counseling style is warm and approachable. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My specialty has been working with children, adolescents, and adults who have complex trauma that stem from abuse, neglect, or other life events. I have also worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addiction, coping with the pandemic, relationship issues, parenting challenges, childhood trauma, career challenges, adjustment to life changes, women's issues, family conflict and grief/loss.
I am a licensed mental health counselor working for a non-profit agency in Hillsborough County, Florida. I am credentialed as a Master’s Level Certified Addictions Professional, (MCAP) with over 20 years in the Behavioral Health Field. I have worked in the private and non-profit sector to include many leadership roles. I am a subject matter expert.
