I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I'm happy that you're here. I will meet you where you are at, and we will work together to create a treatment plan that will help you to reach your goals. I take a holistic mind-body approach to counseling and use a variety of modalities based on your needs. I look forward to working with you. I work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, codependency, eating disorders, and substance use disorder, as well as comorbidity.
I use several different theoretical approaches, including CPT, CBT, PIT, Mindfulness, SFBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-centered.
I'm empathetic, kind, and non-judgmental in my approach but can also be very direct. I will provide feedback and supportive reflection in sessions as opposed to just listening. I also provide psychoeducation to give you frameworks and ways to understand thoughts and behaviors.
