My goal as a social worker is to help individuals, of all ages, in need improve the quality of their lives and their well-being. Problems that I might help people with may include behavioral, health, and social issues. As a clinical social worker I offer counseling services to those individuals in need. Social workers who specialize in mental health issues work with clients battling mental illness, substance misuse, interpersonal relationship problems, among other challenges. I can provide clients with individual or group therapy, as well as referral opportunities for social rehabilitation and crisis intervention.
Clinical social work is a specialty practice area of social work which focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illness, emotional, and other behavioral disturbances. Individual, group and family therapy are common treatment modalities. I can help you with transitioning to life changing circumstances, adapt, and flourish.
