I love working with kids and families. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Registered Play Therapist. When one member of the family is hurting, it affects the other members as well. I help strengthen families and give coping skills and tools to help heal brokenness and dysfunction. I work with the neurotypical and neurodivergent family. I seek to work in collaboration with the individual to help improve connections with the self and others in the individual's life.
I have worked with families for over 30 years, first as a nurse and now as a counselor. I use expressive arts and creative counseling such as EMDR/ Sand tray, Play Therapy, and Nature therapy to help families move closer to their goals. I am Autplay trained and use research supported and evidence-based practices.
If your family is struggling with grief, sadness, adjustment issues, behaviors, anger, or withdrawal, support is very helpful. I partner with my clients and hold space for you as you take your healing journey to connection and a stronger family. I help families with new ADHD, ASD, and twice exceptional diagnosis navigate the challenge and gifts of life.
