Are you looking for counseling for yourself or you teenager? Are you or your teen depressed, anxious or angry? Whether you have experienced something traumatic, or you are struggling with minor issues I want to help. I enjoy helping people with a wide variety of problems including mental health issues, addictions, grief, and relationship problems. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives. It is my desire as a counselor to join the client as a collaborative team, cooperatively setting and working towards counseling goals.
My goal is to create a nonjudgmental, supportive safe space that will bring about new strength, growth and instill hope. I believe counseling is a process that provides insight in order to improve our lives. I also recognize everyone experiences events differently and therefore impacts everyone in their own way.
The best therapy will be with a therapist whom you both connect with. I will work to develop a strong alliance and instill hope into your teen's life. I use evidenced-based practices and facilitate treatment in a way to make sure treatment goals are maintained long after termination.
