Depression and anxiety are often a result of a misperception of self-worth. This impacts our lives in many ways and may lead to a fixed mindset where we feel stuck and unable to do anything about it. But, people can change and do. Helpful small changes can make a big difference. Generally, my role is to help people see themselves more accurately and to discover what they can do to feel better. When the struggles of life hit, all of us could benefit from therapy. The difference is, working things out in a safe, nonjudgmental environment is MUCH faster than trying to do it on your own.

Healing is real and possible. Suffering does not have to last. I help clients live authentically, find more peace, and connect more to self and others by increasing awareness and acceptance of emotions, increasing body discernment/somatic mindfulness, and enhancing the body/mind/spirit connection.
