About
Emotions are the core of human life and experience, and yet we often have a very difficult time navigating what our emotions are trying to tell us about ourselves, how we perceive others, and what's valued in our lives. Through the therapeutic relationship I seek to work together with clients to achieve both better mental and emotional health and greater contentment with life.
I have an M.A. in clinical psychology, a Ph.D. in psychology with a focus on cognitive neuroscience, a graduate certificate in behavior analysis and therapy from the Rehabilitation Institute of Southern Illinois University, and a certificate in interpersonal psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the William Alanson White Institute.
If you're struggling with strong emotions (anger, depression, anxiety), issues related to difficult life transitions (divorce, job loss, retirement), or relationship or family matters, I am here to help. As a candidate of the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis I offer psychoanalytic services for a sliding-scale fee.
