At certain points in life, we all are faced with stress and anxiety. I often hear how turning to loved ones to talk about these issues can feel like we are being a burden. While that is not always the case, it can be a good reason to seek a counselor. Counseling can provide that space for individuals to find new ways to navigate difficult thoughts and feelings. By creating a non-judgmental space, we can work on overcoming worries and stress. Feeling overwhelmed at times is part of the human experience but does not have to be a permanent state to live in. My work focuses primarily on individuals struggling with stress and anxiety. Whether that is stress from work, family or finances or bigger picture stressors like finding more meaning or purpose in life.
I have always been intrigued by human behavior and the human condition. From a very young age, I liked to listen to people's stories and try to understand what makes them the unique individuals they are. This led to caring deeply about people's challenges and wanting to help in any way that I can.
