Finding meaning and purpose is the foundation of my therapeutic approach, and I integrate traditional talk therapy with body awareness and mindfulness to aid clients in achieving their goals. We are all experts on our own lived experience and sometimes get stuck with skills and tools that are no longer serving us. By partnering with clients' ideal future selves, we will develop new habits that are better suited to what is happening in the present moment. Using trauma-informed techniques and protocols, clients will explore their own history while moving toward a whole-person model of wellness.
I have been involved with addiction work for more than 10 years, recently providing counseling services with in-patient drug and alcohol treatment programs. Other experiences include working in domestic violence with both victims and offenders. I draw from a background in multiple therapeutic modalities to help clients navigate a healthy path forward.
I retired from the US Air Force after spending over twenty years working in Public Affairs. This gave me the opportunity to live and tour throughout the United States and Europe strengthening relationships with local communities. These experiences have provided me with a unique set of skills that help to facilitate the healing process with my clients.

The Inner Spotlight therapy group (Finding Confidence and Passion in Performance) is ideal for singers, dancers, orators, actors, presenters, public speakers, musicians, and performing artists of any kind. Many performers struggle with symptoms such as stage fright, burnout, avoidance, frustration, and imposter syndrome. Group members will work towards greater confidence, ease, and flow with their performing and preparation while exploring how these difficulties relate to past traumatic events, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Developing the meaning behind one’s craft and how it relates to non-performance experiences can lead to more fulfillment and a greater sense of purpose.
