Betrayal in an intimate relationship is devastating. The betrayal carries additional considerations when the it involves repeated sexual behaviors of any sort. Trust is immediately lost. Hope quickly diminishes. Trying to even think clearly about where to start may seem impossible. However, help is available. You are not alone and there is a way through it. I work with a team of therapists at Pathway Therapy Center where we specialize in helping clients get through the problems caused by betrayal trauma, especially involving repeated sexual behaviors, and work to find recovery and healing.
