As a Licensed Professional Counselor, it is my responsibility to provide individuals with quality treatment in order to guide them on a path to a more enjoyable life. I provide individuals with the tools needed to be strong and confident about their ability to take control over their lives, and take back the power over their debilitating or undesirable moods, thoughts, and actions. The things I enjoy most about counseling are seeing hope return, providing support, helping individuals recognize that they are not alone or "abnormal," and guiding people on their journey to a better life.
I have a Masters degree in Counseling and I have experience working with individuals, including children, teens, and adults. Most of the people I work with struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and many other challenges. My treatment focus is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

Teen Anxiety Group
Anxiety rates among teens is on the rise. As parents, we need to do what we can to help prepare our youth for navigating the stressors of life. If your teen shows any signs of anxiety, this group can help. Who: For all teens ages 14 – 17. What is taught/learned: Knowledge and understanding of anxiety and depression, How to identify and recognize negative self talk, and implement positive self talk, Self acceptance and overcoming thoughts of perfectionism, Coping skills, How to be resilient. When: Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30. Cost: $40 per group
