As a clinical therapist, I believe that everyone is entitled to exceptional mental health treatment. And although my personal roots are based in Christianity, I am willing and able to help you regardless of your religious beliefs.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Jackson State University and my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayne State University. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and have experience working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, psychosis, grief and loss, ADHD, anger, and adjustment disorders.
My goal as a therapist is to meet you where you are to help you reach your personal therapeutic goals. The most important thing is establishing a trusting relationship so the therapeutic process can go smoothly. My theoretic approach includes a combination of person centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and mindfulness counseling.
