I work with emerging adults, creatives, families and couples interested in exploring their inner worlds in order to heal and thrive.
My modalities include EMDR, ERP, Trauma-Informed yoga and KAP (Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and have a certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy. I have post-graduate training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, which is the foundational lens I use to foster understanding about how issues outside your awareness impact your life.
I grew up in Mexico City and am fluent in Spanish. I have over twenty years of experience in treating trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and personality disorders and have worked in community mental health and inpatient facilities such as the Menninger Clinic in Houston, TX. This 6 week series for women includes 45 minute yoga classes which will incorporate the tenets of trauma-informed yoga, emphasizing choice and building body awareness. Trauma-Informed Yoga Community Class
You are invited to a trauma-informed yoga donations class most Saturday mornings 10-11 AM at the Ampitheater at Lake Park in Mueller Park. Each class will feature a trauma-recovery theme and emphasize somatic agency to deepen embodiment and nervous system regulation.
