Feeling things are out of control? Can’t make sense out of anything? Let’s face it, life throws curve balls when we least expect it. You are not alone! I’m here to help. I have worked in the mental health field working in hospital settings and drug and alcohol agencies working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma and grief including individals who self-medicate with substance use. Often families, marriages and work become affected by how we think and react to life’s struggles. In the end, our mind, body and spirit becomes compromised.
Working with individuals and couples, I use various modalities including Art Therapy to help you learn skills on how move forward in your life and make better choices. Learn how to rekindle your passion for your life or as a couple. Learn Mindfulness, Boundary setting, Communication skills, and have realistic expectations in life, yourself and with others.
I provide individual sessions in person or online, and couple therapy (in person) in my office. Groups are offered at various times covering; Healing through Art, Visual Journaling and Inner Child work through Art. Groups
Healing Trauma through Art Therapy
This is an 8-wk course using Art Therapy to explore how trauma has affected your life. We will start with the Trauma Egg, the Pool of Pain, the mask we wear, how to weave the experiences into a new design ending with creating a beautiful egg honoring ourselves. This form of expression will allow you to have a voice to your pain. This is a small group (6) and meant to be a starting point for your healing. All supplies are provided including a journal. (female only)
