I have been in practice for over 28 years in Roslyn with a focus on treating adults, adolescents and couples and the kinds of problems they encounter during the course of life.I consider myself a specialist in "life transitions". Life transitions are those moments in life that pose some kind of personal difficulty or challenge requiring some kind of change in one's life. These are the times where one's world may feel like it is upside down. Or stuck. Or just not on track. A vulnerable time when what you do can make a significant difference!
Transitional times such as: the end of a relationship, divorce, death, traumatic accident,physical or mental diagnosis, loss, leaving home, a move, a career change, marriage, parenthood, retirement, surgery are critical challenges to face. I utilize hypnotherapy either alone or in conjunction with psychotherapy to enhance the therapeutic process.
In addition to hypnotherapy, I also specialize in the treatment of couples who may find themselves stuck in a negative relationship pattern or facing relationship issues such as discovery of an affair, miscarriage, medical or mental illness in a significant other or other difficulties encountered during the course of life.
