Adolescence and young adulthood are an important time of discovery in an individuals life that comes with many emotional junctures, milestone celebrations, and stages of growth. I believe that by creating a safe and non-judgmental environment, clients can feel supported during these times and increase personal confidence allowing them to make positive decisions, meet their goals and set the foundation for future success.
My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic while offering creative therapeutic techniques, especially when clients are having trouble verbalizing what they are experiencing. I utilize Trauma Focused CBT and the ARC Framework to treat the symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, school related issues, and other stressors.
If a clients life has been effected by school or familial trauma, any type of abuse, or emotional struggles; know that I will provide a safe, supportive space where clients can explore, problem solve, and learn about themselves while building confidence and resiliency.
