Welcome to my practice! I'm Denetra Gary, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland (LCSW-C), Indiana (LCSW), and North Carolina (LCSW). I'm a Christian-based counselor and use the Bible as my foundation. I have ten years of experience in the field of social work and mental health counseling. My therapeutic focus includes working with adults, teens, and children who struggle with anxiety, depression, and chronic disorganization. I'm confident and dedicated to helping you reach your goals.
I use the following treatment modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Talk Therapy, Conflict Theory, Solution Focused Model and Task-Centered Model to help clients overcome a variety of challenges. Though these modalities assist in developing a platform for growth, I use the Bible as the main foundation for complete mental healing.

Recreate & Renew is an 8 week course designed to help you overcome emotional roots from a Biblical perspective. This course is comprised of videos, worksheets, journal printables and a weekly group therapy session. You will get to know your peers, learn to heal from emotional trauma and work together to overcome past hurt and pain.
