I am president of Alongside Counseling, Inc., a Licensed Professional Counselor engaged in private practice. I have been licensed since 2008 and approved to supervise counselors since 2014 by the state of Missouri; certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors; trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy [EMDR], Emotional Freedom Technique and/or Energy Therapy [EFT] and Dialectical Behavior Therapy [DBT]. I earned Masters of Arts degrees from both Lindenwood University and Covenant Theological Seminary.
My counseling specialties include issues involving trauma, depression, grief/loss; and family issues. My trained experience in EMDR and DBT therapies provide integrated treatment to patients that need immediate and long-term treatment. I serve individuals, couples, groups, and am available for Christian-based teaching and spiritual care.
My heart passion, mission, and vision are to come alongside people and help in their life's progress using core skills such as teaching, counseling, and creativity to facilitate "people becoming whole." In this way, I provide professional counseling services aimed at the whole person - mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
