I have worked in a variety of settings with adults, children and adolescents who are struggling with relationships, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I focus on providing support in a warm and accepting atmosphere.
I take an integrative approach, utilizing different modalities to address issues. This includes cognitive-behavioral, which focuses on changing behavior and thought patterns; dynamic, to examine the roots of the thoughts or behavior; and experiential therapy, which uses the session to explore the feelings associated with situations or relationships.
I have been trained in the Collaborative Divorce Process, which allows people going through a divorce to have greater input in the outcome without causing financial and emotional devastation to the family.
