My goal is to promote and encourage good mental health with a person-centered approach. To help clients acquire coping skills that will raise self esteem, and overall well being. To support and encourage clients not only in therapy, but outside as well. To assist in accessing community resources as well as family support if appropriate, and friends.
As an African American therapist I am very passionate about social justice issues that have adversely affected people of color not only physically, but emotionally through depression, anxiety, and other stress related illnesses. I am committed to help through strength building, coping skills, developing a positive self awareness, and self worth.
