I am a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst with 20 years experience providing consultation and psychotherapy. I work with adults and adolescents on a variety of issues, ranging from an individual's emotional and relationship difficulties to a general sense of "being stuck" or dissatisfied with life. I believe it necessary to provide a reliable, empathic setting to carefully understand these difficulties, and more importantly, facilitate personal growth and transformation. My private practice is in Harvard Square, Cambridge. Please feel free to call me for an appointment as well as any questions about my practice or myself.
I received my PhD from the University of Tennessee, and completed an internship and fellowship at the Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Health Alliance. Since then, I completed psychoanalytic training at the Massachusetts Institute of Psychoanalysis, where I currently teach, and offer clinical supervision at the Cambridge Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
I work with people on a variety of issues and concerns. In addition to psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and consulting, I have extensive experience collaborating with individuals managing and living with AD/HD. NOTE: I am not in-network with ANY insurance plans. I can, however, accept insurances with an out-of-network benefit.
