We will focus on formal meditation and informal mindfulness practices .This class is for anyone who desires more peace and health in their lives.Each class will include mindfulness lessons, sitting meditation and body scan. Topics will include foundational attitudes, creating spaciousness, mindful consumption, radical self-acceptance, and metta (lovingkindness). Meditation teaches you how to remain calm and steady within the constant stream of change and stress in the external world. The benefits of meditation include: greater stress management, reduced anxiety and depression symptoms, pain reduction, increased stability in complex situations, improved clarity, sleep improvement, enhanced immune system, better relationships.
