My primary focus is to provide a nonjudgmental, strength based, person-center, and trauma informed approach to treatment. I believe overcoming difficulties can seem complex, especially when overwhelmed by multiple struggles. I utilize evidence based therapeutic modalities that work to address your concerns. I apply active listening and together, discover what approach and strategies will work best for you to feel empowered to move forward in a positive direction. I apply the type of therapy that will fit best for your circumstances and discuss the findings with you throughout the process.
I have over 15 years of direct experience providing counseling in areas such as women's issues, addiction, severe mental illness, trauma, alcoholism and tobacco cessation. I’ve provided career and life coaching as well. I have specialized training in dual diagnosis and work with families. I embrace what you want to say and how you need to heal.
It takes time to understand how things have unfolded in life and learn the skills and tools that will help to overcome barriers in which once seemed insurmountable. Women's Healing Group-Rebuilding Resiliency CPT-SA
CPT-SA for PTSD/Survivors of Sexual Abuse. Learn how to challenge and reframe trauma-related beliefs, such as self-blame, guilt, and shame, while rebuilding self-worth and trust. You will develop techniques to manage emotional distress, trauma triggers, and difficult memories. This will include strategies for emotional regulation, resilience, and re-engagement with meaningful activities and relationships. Build supportive connections with other women, fostering a compassionate and empowering group environment. This is a 10-week group starting Jan. 21 - March 25, 2025.
