Clients that I work with are looking to explore the difficult emotions that they are carrying & process events that they have experienced that are impacting their everyday life. Stress, worries, & life satisfaction are often what bring clients to therapy however processing the needs not being met & how to shift our awareness to engage in life in a way forward are what I often support clients in working on. I also work with clients that are ordered by the Family Court system for therapeutic services, which includes co-parenting, individual and family therapy.
I have significant experience working with those that struggle with anxiety, depression & trauma. I utilize a variety of approaches, including language, culture & traditions & strive to help clients learn more about how the body stores trauma. In court-involved therapy, I have experience with high conflict parenting and parent/child contact problems.
Talking about our inner thoughts and struggles can be difficult, therefore finding a good fit in a therapeutic relationship is key.
