Hello! My name is Denise Verchimak and I look forward to working with you! Life can pull us down and sometimes we need a little help to re-balance and get back on track. I believe in creating a safe place for you to share your experiences. In sessions with clients, I use a warm, encouraging model of counseling that allows you to share your deepest thoughts and concerns. I have great respect for my clients and am constantly in awe of how much people are balancing in life or how much they are dealing with emotionally. I would like to help you on your journey!
I am trained in the Developmental Model of couples counseling that focuses on the growth and development of each partner individually in addition to the couple. I have a post masters degree in family systems. I also work with individuals who are struggling with depression or anxiety in an integrated therapeutic approach, using techniques tailored to you.
