"Homework" runs the gamut and often includes journaling, artwork/crafting, bibliotherapy, practicing a new protocol, or just saying "no" without further elaboration.
Practicing for 30+ years, I specialize in trauma, ADD, and self-erasure/sabotage and use cognitive-behavioral, psychoanalytic, and evidenced-based techniques in relation to who you are, what issues are most salient, and how best to help strengthen what's working and undo what doesn't. The goal is to get you comfortable in your own skin and using your voice.
I'm a Humanist (Rogers, Maslow) committed to creating and holding space where the change you envision may be safely explored. Power of Habit: Bibliotherapy group Winter/Spring
This 12-week online bibliotherapy group uses Duhigg's book and focuses on understanding how habits work and how to change them. Offered shortly after the holidays, readings and assignments support any change efforts you are interested in beginning. The $399 fee includes an initial 1:1 call to ascertain goals of participation and assure comfort with the facilitator and format. Additional worksheets support and allow individual tailoring. Sessions: 12 Sundays between January and April; each session is 90 minutes Requirements: Membership Registration; the book may be purchased or borrowed and is not included.
