My name is Denise Rothman and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in NC and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both SC and NJ. I have been in private practice for 10 years. My experience also includes working with children, adults, and seniors in the community for many years. I have come to appreciate the importance of a supportive family and community environment in the healthy growth and development of all individuals.
I believe that personal change can be effectively initiated by exploring behaviors that are not working well in our lives, and by looking at thought patterns that do not support healthy positive growth. In changing both thought and behavior, people see personal growth and maintain more positive relationships and lifestyles.
