We all have the power to heal ourselves. And because we are relational beings, we all need support to do so. My energies will go toward creating a safe space with you so you can explore whatever it is that brought you to therapy. In my 20+ years experience, I have worked with many people on issues such as trauma, addiction, bereavement, job transitions, spirituality, depression, anxiety and more.
My approach is non-hierarchical and collaborative. I appreciate and respect all identities and lived experiences. I combine a variety of approaches including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT(Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Insight oriented therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatic awareness and mindfulness practices.
By cultivating the ability to observe feelings, tolerate discomfort and have compassion for ourselves, we increase our capacity to transform pain and suffering and deepen our connectedness to ourselves and others. During this process we also can harness our innate gifts and utilize them in ways that bring us joy and meaning.
