Life has been full of unexpected challenges interspersed with some beautiful moments. I believe I am resilient once I give myself time to process and reframe things happening around me. I also know turning 60 was one of the hardest years of my life however, I found my peace again and am a better person in spite of aging. I keep a good sense of humor with a serious side, which helps when counseling individuals who may be at a crossroads they did not expect or struggling with life.
I am a clinically licensed social worker. I went back to school at 54 after a 30 plus year career in special education and early intervention. My passion and gifts center on helping people overcome overwhelming life challenges and life transitions. I am trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, and CAMS to assist you in overcoming trauma, changing negative thought patterns
