It is an honor to continue to practice as an educator and psychotherapist, working individually with children, adolescents and adults, as well as with families and couples. I appreciate the courage it takes for people to enter therapy. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and based on trust. When useful, I include the gentle assistance of my therapy dogs.
Utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, Play, Art and Sand Tray Therapy I continue to be inspired by the resilience of clients as they grow and heal. I am trained in EMDR, (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), a behavioral approach that is amazing and an effective treatment for residual effects of trauma
