About
DENISE SAFONT IS ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. Many people grow up in families that display a wide range of behaviors and thought patterns that cause distress. Mental health issues, illness, economic instability and substance abuse are often present. Family members often feel exhausted and overwhelmed from taking care of others and denying their own self care. Having the willingness to look at ways you can improve your own life is an important skill that will provide you with a better outlook on your situation. Using strategies that are easy to learn, clients often feel successful after their first visit.
Talking things through with a trained professional can help. Learning to set appropriate boundaries can assist with challenging relationships. Focusing on what is working builds a solid foundation leading to success. Changing habits that have developed over time is a gradual process that requires practice and an openness to try new things.
My focus is on assisting clients toward a better understanding of themselves and how they developed patterns of behavior that no longer help them. This process can create a feeling of increased confidence. I also specialize in addiction issues and provide family interventions. Please contact me for more information.
