I approach therapy as a collaborative process where together we explore your life challenges with curiosity but without judgement. Although not always easy, therapy can be deeply rewarding. An exploration that will help you reconnect with your inner strength and wisdom, better able to overcome obstacles and to move towards a greater sense of wellbeing.
My background is holistic, focused on the connection between Body, Mind, and Spirit. I use an integrative approach using elements of Yoga, Mindfulness, and Dance Movement Therapy as well as incorporating Cognitive Behavioral and insight-oriented interventions, whatever is best suited to the needs of the individual.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression. trauma survivors, LGBTQ issues, and people going through life transitions. I have worked for over 25 years in Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities. I am fluent in ASL and provide culturally sensitive therapy to Deaf/HOH clients and, as a CFRC, provide cultural sensitivity to First Responders
