More than just "EMDR-trained," I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant who works with clients looking for an effective and clear-cut method to overcome the challenges of complex-PTSD, depression, and anxiety that arise from life transitions, relationship issues, occupational plight, or family, social, and cultural duress. In practice for over 15 years, I use EMDR exclusively and am actively connected to a national and international network of professionals dedicated to EMDR treatment, research, and protocols. I thoroughly enjoy working with clients as well as the therapists who come to me for EMDR consultation.
My clients are professionals and other high-functioning adults who want a safe and protective space to work through their concerns. "The First 3,000 Hours & Beyond," is a two-part workshop for advanced-year MSW students and early-career social workers. Part I, "Beginning the Licensure Journey" covers what to expect during the first 3,000 hours of the typical clinical social work career. Part II, "The 3,000th Hour and Beyond" addresses pitfalls that can arise just as the first 3,000 hours draw to a close, and offers helpful considerations for entering private practice.
