About
As an EMDR Certified Therapist, I am pleased to exclusively offer EMDR therapy for adults who want to use this effective and clear-cut method to overcome personal challenges. I've been in practice for over 10 years and am experienced in addressing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, occupational plight, and issues of family, social, and cultural duress. Importantly, I am not simply "trained" in EMDR; I have completed a rigorous two-year certification program focused on EMDR therapy and remain actively connected to a professional network dedicated to EMDR treatment and protocols.
My practice has grown since March 2020, and I now accept clients in Washington DC, Maryland, and Hawaii for virtual appointments.
If you'd like to learn more about EMDR, my practice and how I can help - or if you are a practitioner seeking EMDR consultation - feel free to email me for more information. Just click the "Email" link in the pink box below or use the "Email Me" button above.

The First 3,000 Hours & Beyond
"The First 3,000 Hours & Beyond," is a two-part workshop for advanced-year MSW students and early-career social workers. Part I, "Beginning the Licensure Journey" covers what to expect during the first 3,000 hours of the typical clinical social work career. Part II, "The 3,000th Hour and Beyond" addresses pitfalls that can arise just as the first 3,000 hours draw to a close, and offers helpful considerations for entering private practice.
