Many of the people I work with appear strong and capable on the outside while privately carrying trauma, grief or memories of experiences that few people know about. I often work with individuals who have lived through profound loss, suicide loss, traumatic events, or chaotic environments, yet have built thoughtful and capable lives. Over time, unresolved grief or complex trauma can surface as depression, emotional numbness, exhaustion, or a sense that something inside still hasn’t settled. Therapy can offer a place where the weight you’ve been carrying no longer has to remain as a heaviness or affecting your growth and happiness.
With more than two decades of clinical experience, I specialize in complex trauma, grief therapy and suicide loss. I use EMDR and inner child work to help the brain and body process memories that may be intrusive, or emotionally overwhelming. Together we work to reduce the intensity of trauma memories, allow you to feel your grief and look to your future.
My approach is compassionate, direct and respectful of each person’s worldview. Many of the people I work with value reflection, spirituality, or a broader sense of meaning without identifying with organized religion. Therapy can offer a space to speak openly, process difficult experiences, and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust
