About
HOPE, HELP, HEALING. Dr. Casey would best describe her intentions for her clients in one word "Transformation". As founder of Barrington Behavioral Health & Wellness, she has created a "home" for people where growth and healing are possible. Her own journey has taught her as much as the diplomas on her wall and the credentials behind her name. She was on staff at Lutheran General Hospital and taught at Northeastern IL University. She is trained as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Certified Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor, is versed in Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is also an Employee Assistance Provider.
Dr. Casey has traveled with people from all walks of life to deal with interventions, addiction recovery, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, childhood trauma, loss & grief, sexual abuse, women's issues and codependency. Her clients say that she goes "above & beyond", colleagues call her passionate, she calls herself committed.
Miss Myla Mae and Little Lexi Lu are certified Canine Good Citizens and Certified Therapy Dogs that may greet you. They are small min pins who bring entertainment, caring and comfort, but can be excused for anyone who is uncomfortable with them. Most clients look forward to our Private, Confidential and Homelike atmosphere.

As women going through the challenging process of divorce, we meet every Monday at 6:30-8:00pm in the Barrington office to provide support, reflection and transformation. Divorce is a time of great loss and can eventually lead to a new beginning. Join this intimate group anytime by arranging a time for intake with Dr. Casey. This group is currently closed due to long term attendance and unity of it’s members.
