I enjoy working with clients that are interested in living their best life possible by working through the challenges that have kept them from feeling whole and emotionally healthy. I work with issues of personal growth and health & wellness by helping to clear the challenges of trauma that come from violence, disturbing memories, medical challenges, anger, addictions, stress, anxiety & panic attacks, complicated grief, eating struggles and communication. I like to deal with the whole person which includes healthy habits, communication and their relationship to others. I work with individuals and couples.
I specialize in EMDR Therapy while working with the above issues. I also have a strong background in Health & Wellness challenges and healthy lifestyle habits. I have worked for over 20 years with people in trauma both as a psychotherapist and in Law Enforcement.
I have an M.A. Physical Education as well as Counseling Psychology which helps me to more effectively work with the whole person. In utilizing EMDR and other forms of talk therapy, I like to incorporate the client's personal experience, feelings at the body level & intuitive knowingness of themselves.
