I am passionate about being a guide for individuals as they navigate life's transitions, experience anxiety, depression, or grief that may seem unbearable at times. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to help individuals identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns that can cause intensely unpleasant emotions and challenging behaviors.
I emphasize open and transparent communication to foster a supportive, nonjudgmental atmosphere. I engage in active, empathetic listening and provide opportunities for you to reflect on your personal experiences. My goal is to be a mirror - to reflect what I see and hear so that we can identify necessary cognitive and behavioral changes.
