As a grief, pain, and trauma specialist with over 24 years of clinical experience, my mission is to support children, teens, adults, and families of diverse backgrounds whose lives have been disrupted by the impact of loss, traumatic life experiences, or chronic pain and who struggle in their day to day and subsequently in their relationships with others. I work with my clients on using the best-proven methods (EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, ACT, DBT, art therapy, and mind-body practices) to manage their triggers, fears, and worries, cultivate healthy relationships, and take the first steps toward healing and rebuilding lives.
Using clinical assessment to create individual treatment plans tailored to client needs and addressing multiple ongoing issues (anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, grief, chronic pain, women's health issues, etc.) Individual and family therapy, family reunification, and court testimony. Bringing down the barriers to a happy life and success.
I have had the privilege of witnessing much healing and restoration in clients with the most adverse and traumatic life events and losses. However, healing is a process and a journey. Hummingbird, a VIRTUAL, 8-week grief, loss, and life transition support group for women, serves as a compassionate environment where women can share their experiences of loss or significant life transitions and find solace in the presence of others who understand their pain.
