I am a psychoanalyst and LCSW-R with offices in Midtown, Manhattan and Stamford, CT. At the moment, I’m operating entirely virtually. I completed my undergraduate work at Smith College, and my graduate work at New York University and The William Alanson White Institute for Psychoanalysis. I practice interpersonal psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. My primary goal in treatment is to help patients develop a clearer understanding of themselves and their relationships with loved ones.
I work most frequently with individuals struggling in their relationships, either romantic, platonic, or work related. I have in-depth experience with:. 1) individuals in high pressure careers 2) new parents struggling to adjust to parenthood 3) single men and women struggling to navigate the NYC dating scene. 4) anxiety/depression.
Lastly, I've had 3 articles published on Psychology Today. They are: 'Love Can Make You Crazy.' ‘Dating Pandemic Style.’ and ‘New Parents: Fighting About the Same Thing Over and Over?’ I also have an on-going blog on Psychology Today on the subject of relationships.
