Hello. My name is Delores Morris, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I work with clients statewide via telehealth. I approach therapy from a client-centered perspective that's based on the individual needs of each client. My style and approach are typically a good match for adults who may be experiencing grief, depression, PTSD, anxiety, job stress, life transitions, and other similar conditions or concerns. Clients who are seeking to gain insight into the way they are feeling.
Clients who are seeking ways to cope with what they are going through and who may be seeking strategies, self-awareness, and underlying connections to their symptoms The environment with me will be supportive, safe, nonjudgmental, and encouraging, with positive energy and a pleasant tone. Most will find I'm easy to talk to.
My approach to therapy involves a supportive, nonjudgemental, safe space for our work together, as well as a collaborative approach, as you are the expert. My theoretical approaches may include CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Insight-oriented therapy, Solution-focused therapy, or Eclectic Therapy (a combination thereof).
