My name is Delenny Dubose, I am a licensed Clinical Social worker. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy are the most common theoretical approaches I use in treatment. However, during the intake sessions, I work with individuals to develop a treatment plan tailored for them. I generally work with clients who are struggling with managing symptoms related to depression and anxiety. Or individuals navigating relationship challenges. I work with the client to develop clear and specific goals that we agree will meet their needs.
I listen to my clients, engage honestly, and tell them things that they need to hear. I also strive to make my clients feel safe and not judged by their mistakes or diagnoses.
Upon the first session, you should expect to complete an intake assessment. This assessment will help me get to know you a little better. During this time also feel free to ask me any relevant questions regarding my background and approach. During the first session, we will also develop a treatment plan based on your needs.
