I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and Oklahoma Counseling Association (OCA). I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Counseling Psychology degree, both from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults and families in an outpatient setting as well as school-based setting. I incorporate solution-focused as well as cognitive-behavioral and reality based therapy solutions. I am EMDR fully trained.
I work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families. I have worked with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, ADHD, family issues, divorce, grief/loss, anger management, parenting skills, adolescent issues, trauma, physical, sexual and mental abuse, and personality disorders. I also provide mental health & ADHD assessments.
I attempt to make this experience as comfortable as possible. I like to incorporate humor into therapy often. I take every possible measure to give you a safe and calm place to laugh, cry and vent frustrations and anger when necessary in a soothing and warm environment. I will teach you effective coping skills and skills to process your experiences.
