"Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it" - Hellen Keller. Suffering is inevitable, but healing is available. The first step taken toward healing is the reaching out, the finding the right fit, and even the fear that you might not find the right person. I see and admire you for taking that first step. I practice with young and middle adults, as they are going through difficult transitional times, mood disorders, eating disorders, and trauma/PTSD.
I have an eclectic style, inspired by multiple modalities, primarily using and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), but also including Polyvagal Theory (PVT), Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also pull elements from other modalities. I have an authentic, relatable, compassionate, and client centered approach.
Coming to therapy can be hard. It can feel scary and misunderstood. My goal is to create a safe space where you know that you are heard and validated. I show up authentically and relatable to support you as you take these steps toward healing.
