After working 5+ years with neurodivergent individuals I like to incorporate sensory informed practices to best help parents, couples and families of neurodivergent households. I focus on experiential processing in session with all clients to provide an alternative form of communication. I love to work with the communities I am apart of such as military, LGBTQ+, and mixed race background. I would love to make a safe space for you.
I focus on experiential work, because sometimes your body and mind are trying to communicate but struggle to understand each other. I focus on the whole sensory process because sometimes thats the body's way of communicating and I want to help you learn to understand it. This can include EMDR and Sandtray therapy.
Since I come from a mixed race background I realized the need for a therapist who can represent diversity in mental health. I want to work to fill the gap and build a stronger understanding of mental health for those within these communities.
