My style as a therapist is a balance between insight/reflection and action focused interventions. I have been using this approach to help individuals and couples for over 20 years. With extensive addictions training I am able to help individuals move away from destructive behavioral patterns. My couples work is dynamic, pragmatic and solution-focused, utilizing state of art strategies to tailor a unique approach for each couple. Drawing on a background in law and management consulting, I am adept at giving individuals the perspective and tools they need to succeed in the workplace.
My primary emphasis is on helping individuals and couples utilize the insights gained through therapy to make direct and significant improvements in their relationship with themselves and others, to enhance their work lives, to experience more joy.
My background in law, public policy and management consulting, in addition to clinical psychology, allows me to bring a very broad, sophisticated, and grounded perspective to the work of helping individuals and couples lead their best possible lives.
