In life, there are times when we need to face challenging situations and make changes, but we may need help to think things through. I work from the perspective that all of us can bring certain strengths to bear and that we can benefit from self-understanding in order to use our strengths to the best of our abilities. Through a collaborative framework, I help people cope with the pressures of everyday life, transitions that are challenging and/or stressful as well as longstanding concerns such as learning difficulties, anxieties, mood problems, interpersonal concerns, and life transitions.
I provide psychotherapy services for children, adolescents and adults to address mood problems, anxiety, learning difficulties impacting academic or work progress, self-esteem issues, concerns in personal/work relationships as well as to gain self-understanding. I also provide ADHD coaching to help individuals learn and enact behaviors that help them reach their life goals.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) psychologist and am able to relate directly to the needs of clients who are trying to understand and cope with cultural differences in addition to other emotional issues.
