About
My own experience has taught me that pain is a gift. Pain awakens us to the areas of our lives that are in need of attention, balance and healing. I offer people a safe and nurturing environment to explore the interior landscapes of their lives and discover hope and strength as they move toward the healing solutions they are looking for. I view the process of therapy as a sacred journey and enter the journey with the utmost respect, humility and compassion.
My clinical work with abuse and trauma has led me to seek training that incorporates Attachment - Focused EMDR, and the integration of the body in the treatment of trauma. Please see: www.parnellemdr.com and www.sensorimotorpsychotherapy.org
I also have had the privilege of incorporating the Experiential Model of Equine Assisted Therapy into my practice for the past 20 years. I have found the horses to be amazing partners in the process of transformational healing in my own life as well as the lives of my clients. Please see: www.healingreins.com
