It is my goal as a therapist to walk alongside clients and empower them to be the best version of themselves. I seek to achieve this with my clients through a client-centered systems approach, and I enjoy providing therapy through a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I enjoy providing faith-based services to those requesting it, and specialize in areas such as bipolar disorder, codependency, trauma and PTSD, grief, substance abuse, and life transition, among other things.
I have experience working in a variety of settings, including a critical access hospital, behavioral health hospital, private practice, long-term care facilities, schools, jails, and child services. This experience has equipped and given me a passion for working with teenagers, adults, couples, and families seeking healing.
I graduated from the Michigan State University School of Social Sciences, and went on to graduate from the Indiana University Purdue University School of Social Work in 2006. Since then, I have been practicing as a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical addictions counselor. I am accepting new clients through telehealth services.
