I focus on individual psychotherapy for adults and have extensive training in clinical interventions such as active listening, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic education, and problem solving therapy. I am trained in using cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. I employ clinical techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, problem-solving, relaxation and breathing techniques, and social skills training to help people improve their mood and boost emotional regulation.

My therapeutic philosophy centers around compassion as a foundation for healing and growth. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions to connect with the strengths they already have and foster resilience. I believe that when we feel truly seen and heard, we are free to explore the depths of our emotional experience and develop insight into the themes and patterns that shape our mental health. Together, we will examine the beliefs and patterns which no longer serve you, identify their origins, and work toward joy, authenticity, and self-understanding.

Reaching out for help is a magnificent and brave act. I am so glad you are here. A little bit about me: my approach is to start where you are. I want to hear your story and your journey. We will explore your concerns and decide together about possible next steps and solutions. I have over 20 years of non-profit social service work, particularly during the peak of the AIDS epidemic. I learned so much about perseverance, courage, and grief through my experience. I look forward to supporting you towards finding the same healing, and discovering just how strong you really are.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating — opening up to someone you’ve just met is no small step. But I’m here to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space for individuals and couples navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, ADHD, communication difficulties, and intimacy concerns. In our work together, I help you better understand your experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, build emotional resilience, and strengthen your relationships. We’ll explore your readiness for change, foster trust and safety in the process, and work toward expanding your emotional toolbox for meaningful, lasting growth.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and questions related to identity and belonging. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward in an important area of their lives. Together, we create space to better understand patterns, explore emotions with curiosity, and develop greater clarity about what matters most. My goal is to help clients strengthen their relationship with themselves and others while moving through life's challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness.

You may be feeling emotionally drained or stuck in patterns that feel hard to break. Your thoughts might race, and your emotions may feel intense. You could be navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, or a general sense of disconnect. You’re not necessarily looking for quick fixes, rather you’re looking to feel understood, supported, and to finally have space where you don’t have to explain or minimize what you’re going through.
This is where our work together falls into place. I work with adolescents and adults using a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach.

Welcome. I offer a warm space for individuals to navigate anxiety, depression,
loneliness, trauma, life transitions, grief, relationship struggles, or the quiet discomfort of
living inauthentically. The work is rooted in self-discovery, self-acceptance, and the
belief that healing happens when we feel seen and supported.
My therapeutic approach integrates the mind-body relationship and blends evidence-
based therapies (ACT, CBT, DBT) with solution-focused strategies, somatic (body)
practices, and holistic wellness.

Hello and welcome!
I’m glad you’re here. Beginning the path to self-care and healing is a powerful step, even if it feels daunting. As your therapist, I aim to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, untangle emotions, and build a deeper mind-body connection (something we’ll explore together in session).
I tailor my approach to your unique needs in the moment. My work often includes building self-compassion, somatic (body-based) practices, mindfulness, boundary setting, and exercises to challenge unhelpful thought patterns.

Maybe you are the one who keeps going, keeps showing up, and keeps holding everything together, but inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck in the same painful patterns. You might struggle with trauma, low self-worth, relationship stress, ADHD-related overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from yourself. You want relief, clarity, healthier boundaries, and a way to feel more grounded, confident, and like yourself again.
